Monetary Donations to the YWCA St. James House.  Your dollars help to keep our Shelter up and running all year.

Gift Cards from : local stores such as dollar stores, Giant Eagle, Save-A-Lot & Walmart - these can be used at the discretion of the staff for the needs of incoming residents in need of much, such as: Emergency Groceries - milk, eggs, bread,cereal,etc., things to get residents started until food stamps can start: Diapers, Wipes, underwear, socks, etc.

In lieu of large family gift exchanges around the holidays, we have had families donate items or money to the St. James House instead of a gift exchange.  The products can be as an exchange from our linens list....Towels. was cloths, blankets.  It can be rewarding for families to give the gift of giving to those going through a tough time.
